Bill Foster

The late Bill Foster was a Northwest Missouri Radio Host and Popular Emcee of the landmark Television program, “Let’s Dance”. The regional broadcast ran on KFEQ-TV throughout the 1960’s.
The program ran weekly and was seen in four states, Missouri, Kansas, Iowa and Nebraska.

Foster’s insight and relationship with such promoters as Dick Clark and the “American Bandstand” program help introduce the sound of rhythm, blues, pop, and rock genres into the Midwest, introducing such talents as The Zombies, The Tradewinds, Jewel Akins, and Otis Redding to wider and diverse audience. Bill was also responsible for booking those talents and all were seen live on 'Let's Dance'.
